How to Study the Bible - When we labor in the Word our person must be simple, consecrated, and spiritual. Then when our person is right we must have the proper way to learn what the facts are in the Bible. The facts of the Bible will bring us to inspiration, to truth, and to light.

Maturity comes from the proper understanding of what life is and how life operates. The divine life we have received includes three things: the divine life with its sense, its nature, and its operation.

The Living Needed for the Church Life In a Proper and Healthy Local Church - Being a local church in practice requires three extremely crucial things. Firstly, for the church life, concerning your person, be with lowliness, meekness, and long-suffering. Then secondly tell the Lord, "Lord, I have dorea, now let me be perfected, so that in being perfected I can become a doma, a real blessing to the church." And thirdly, love the brothers just as the Lord loves us.

Treasuring Our Human Virtues for the Church Life - When we received the Lord Jesus as our Savior we were regenerated with the divine life, and in this life we received many capabilities, attributes, and virtues. The following virtues are most crucial for your exercise as a brother in the church life. Every genuine believer, through the life he received at regeneration, is: pure and trusting; longing after the Lord and pursuing the Lord and the things of the Lord; and poor in spirit and open.

What Does it Mean to be "Born Again"? - At the moment we first believed in the Lord Jesus and received Him as our Savior, something wonderful happened to us. The Bible describes it by saying that we were "born again" (John 3:3). Many people use this term, and so many Christian teachers have spoken about this subject, yet very few of us understand how rich and wonderful it is to be born again.

We Have Received a New Life - The first marvelous thing that happened to us when we believed in Jesus Christ was that we received a new life. As human beings, all of us have a human life. But when we were born again, we received a new life. This new life we received is the life of God Himself. We will cover nine separate points concerning the new life that we have received.

We Have Received a New Position (1) - When we were born again we received a change in our position. By being born again we have been transferred from the kingdom of Satan to the kingdom of God (Col. 1:13). This means that our position has changed. In order to fully appreciate our new position we will look at eight different aspects of the negative position we were in before we were born again.

We Have Received a New Position (2) - When we were born again, we received an entirely new position. We should not underestimate the significance of receiving a new position, because our position will determine what kind of living we will have. Now in our new position we can enjoy all the marvelous riches which God has prepared for us. In the next two messages we will cover thirty wonderful aspects of our position after being born again. What We Have Become in Christ - The new position we received is truly marvelous. We don't need to beg the Lord that we might enter into them. All of these wonderful aspects of our new position belong to us already. We are born again, and God has transferred us into His kingdom! We Have Received the Necessity of a New Living (1) - We were not born again so that we would have to struggle so hard. We were born again into a living of enjoyment. We can enjoy Christ as everything to us. He is the Lamb, He is our Friend, He is our older Brother, He is our Shepherd, He is the Builder, and He is the Bridegroom!

We Have Received the Necessity of a New Living (2) - Christ is not only a living person for us to enjoy, He is also the supply to meet our daily needs. In the Gospel of John we see that Christ is life to us. He is the bread of life, the water of life, the light of life, and the word of life. Then He is also grace, reality, satisfaction, freedom, the resurrection, and the true vine. The enjoyment of all these riches will supply us to meet all the needs in our daily life.

We Have Received the Necessity of a New Living (3) - We have seen that when we were born again we received the necessity of a new living. The first aspect, which we have covered, is the enjoyment of Christ. The second aspect of this new living is that it is for the Body of Christ and the practical church life. Now that we are in the Body of Christ, we should realize that the Lord requires something from us. We should love one another, keep the oneness, and feed and shepherd the lambs and the sheep.

A Savior for Your Past, Present, and Future - Those who are Christians know that we have a marvelous Savior. Those who do not yet believe, need this marvelous Savior.
